Michelle McIntosh

A little about me...

Michelle McIntosh was born in Santa Monica, CA and raised

in Malibu and Taos, New Mexico. Her father, the late Robert Walker, Jr, was an actor, son of Academy Award

Winners Jennifer Jones and Robert Walker Sr. Her mother, Eleanor Wood also an actress, singer, and dancer, lives in Taos. Michelle’s childhood took her from beaches

of Malibu, to the Seychelle Islands, to the small town of Maysville, Kentucky, and finally to the high desert of Taos, New Mexico. She attended Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, and the Cornish Institute of the Arts in Seattle. She was trained as an actress and singer in LA,

where she sang and appeared in roles in film and TV.

She was married in 1986 to actor Bruce McIntosh, and they moved with their one-year old daughter Lindsay to Taos in 1994. Several years ago she began taking photographs of the local landscape with her iPhone. She shared the images

on social media, and her aunt, Dorothy Braudy, a fine arts painter living in LA, saw them and encouraged her to begin printing her work and became a patron, purchasing her a proper camera and underwriting the cost of prints and framing for Michelle’s first photo show which opened in January, 2020 at The Farmhouse Café in

El Prado, NM.
